POSITION SUMMARY

As a member of Cassaday & Company, a top wealth management firm in the country and Virginia’s #1 financial advisor, you will join our team as a member of the Client Services Department. This position supports the firm by developing relationships with firm clients and helping them maximize the value they're getting from the company’s services. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Client Services, and will have daily interaction with senior executives, internal departments, and our clientele.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming client requests, interpreting client’s needs then coordinating with the advisory team to confirm then implement the request.
  • Execute account maintenance actions (Beneficiary changes, address updates, account retitling).   
  • Monitor and follow up on processing requests to ensure proper execution and drive resolution to NIGOs while providing clients with updates and timelines.
  • Open new accounts and coordinate all related documentation and custodial requirements to ensure timely and accurate setup.
  • Facilitate secure money movement requests (wires/ACH/checks) on a daily basis and ensure controls and documentation requirements are met.
  • Facilitate incoming client transfers (ACATs, rollovers, cash transfers), monitoring progress through completion and communicating status updates to clients and advisors.
  • Manage daily check deposits and banking activity, ensuring timely processing and adherence to internal controls and custodial procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and current client data in CRM and custodial systems (e.g., contact details, account registrations, trusted contacts).
  • Handle client-facing inquiries independently, escalating when outside scope or requiring advisor input, while maintaining high-touch communication.
  • Manage document and file-maintenance tasks related to active client accounts to support accurate client servicing and record keeping.
  • Provide value-add to clients by anticipating follow-up needs (e.g., checking for outstanding signatures, confirming instructions, verifying transaction completion) and acting without prompting. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the financial services industry or client service position.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial industry.
  • Series 7 license preferred.
  • Experience using CRM system (Tamarac preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite tools (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
  • High level of service orientation, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize and complete work efficiently.
  • The ability to manage multiple responsibilities and requests with competing deadlines in a fast-paced and high-performance work environment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to express ideas and thoughts in a clear, professional manner.
  • The ability to exercise independent judgement with minimal supervision and maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding client affairs.
  • Professional, service-oriented demeanor with pleasant, business-appropriate phone manners.
  • Effective problem-solving skills to resolve routine client questions.
  • The ability to follow instructions, including a strong adherence to meet deadlines.
  • “Team player" mindset, willingness to do whatever is needed, big or small.

 

Compensation: $70,000–$95,000 commensurate with experience and credentials.

This position offers a hybrid schedule following successful completion of the introductory period.
